Design: Luca Nichetto (2021)ANDES is like a case that envelops the mattress. The headboard and bed base coalesce as a single entity and show the same aesthetics and elegant lines as those found in the ANDES sofa.
Appearing as a serene and plush oasis and seemingly afloat on a light, painted metal structure, ANDES is the embodiment of comfort and elegance. The double piping – an element inspired by Josef Hoffmann‘s HAUS KOLLER chair – runs along the perimeter defining the piece’s organic form in a testament to handcrafted precision. The head-board and bed base cover is sewn from a single piece – a masterful manifestation of the sewer’s art that underpins the impression that everything is cast from one die. A tribute to an ultimate night’s rest.
