Heat regulation and reclining comfort can be adapted to personal preferences depending on the filling material. Because the feeling of being too warm or too cool is just as personal as the feeling that the mattress is too hard or too soft. The choice of a firm mattress does not have to mean giving up softness – by supplementing it with a fluffy topper you can achieve exactly that feeling of sinking in, that many dream of. Toppers also extend the life of the mattress, pleasantly raise the resting height and absorb a lot of moisture. Each topper is generously filled and designed with a quilting pattern that stabilizes the materials. Wittmann toppers are made to order by hand and are available in any size. This allows each side of the bed to be perfectly customized or a continuous double bed topper can create a homogeneous lying surface.

Our Mattress Toppers

Princess

The natural elasticity of the air permeable latex core gives this topper a particularly soft surface and guarantees optimal muscle and joint relaxation in every sleeping position. With the Princess topper, the perfect sleeping system is made complete: the underlying mattress gives the individually desired firmness and support. The addition of the Princess topper ultimately creates a combination that not only means the highest possible individuality, but also a luxury that you should treat yourself to for the perfect sleep.

Eden

Unwind, gently sink in and immerse yourself in a world of complete relaxation: Eden has a thick core of quality Talalay latex, which is wrapped with a layer of wild silk for the summer months, with cashmere on the other side for the winter. The ideal topper for all seasons.

Cashmere

Temperature-compensating

The precious undercoat of the Cashmere goat is combed out in a laborintensive process and carefully selected. The fluff hair is unsurpassed in its fineness and suppleness and is feather light. Cashmere is one of the highest quality natural fibers with a distinctive, velvety soft touch and very good thermal insulation.

Wild Silk

Cooling

Obtained from the cocoons of the silkworm, wild silk with its irregular surface is the only naturally occurring continuous fiber. It has an insulating effect and can absorb up to one third of its own weight in moisture.

Merino Wool

Warming

The wool of the Merino sheep is one of the finest wool qualities and has high thermal insulation and storage properties. It can absorb water vapor in the interior of the fiber without feeling wet and allows moisture to evaporate faster than comparable natural fibers.

Horse-Hair

Moisture regulating

For the filling, exclusively the high-quality hair from the tail of the horse is used which gives an elastic, resilient and thereby adaptable topper. The rippling allows the topper to remain air permeable, which in turn prevents a potential build-up of heat. A luxurious layer of cotton encloses both sides of the horse hair core which ensures a pleasant softness and supports moisture control.

Lyocell Fibre

The fiber – also called Tencel® – is made of wood from sustainable forestry and is biodegradable. Lyocell has a smooth surface with a silky feel and desirable hygienic properties: the fiber absorbs moisture and transports it to the outside. This means that no moisture film can build up, which would be the basis for bacteria formation. Lyocell is also very tear resistant and therefore a very durable material. Washable up to 40°c due to the special composition of the material. Shrinkage of up to 5 % is possible.
